Small bar below ground gets crowded very easily. Nice atmosphere but am not sure about their “no hats” policy. A friend of mine was wearing a hat and she was asked to remove it or leave the bar, so, beware and take off your hat before entering.

Nice long bar with seating in the back. Good range of cocktails with proficient and friendly bar staff who know their drinks. Sound is good and the crowd is a mixture of ages.

Mostly reserved tables…in fact I think it is only by reservation, but anyway it is the kind of tent for office parties or client do’s. As a result you will find the majority of the visitors are dressed for the occasion in their dirndl and lederhosen. I must say I find that the dirndl really brings out the best in women and so as a direct result this is a most enjoyable tent to visit :-)

Now then, where are those aspirins…

I think someone has placed the wrong picture for this beer garden and sadly I do not have one to hand to do the place justice. However…it is a largish beer garden with a gorgeous restaurant for those cold rainy days. If you happen to find yourself here during the Nockherberg beer festival, then be careful…be very careful. Their beer is deadly and before you know it you will be getting acquainted with the intricate mechanism on the underside of the folding tables. Don’t say you were not warned.

This is actually the grünwald park. A very popular playground unless you get your kids there before 10:30 when you will probably have the run of the place.

One of those nice little family atmosphere restaurants. Nice garden on the front that’s a little secluded from the street. Mondays and Tuesdays are pasta and pizza days (don’t remember which order) but the prices are really low on the appropriate nights.
Food is good, service is fast and efficient.Most important they are children friendly.

I really miss a good cream cheese and salmon bagel and this place does it. You get to choose from a variety of bagels and they do have other fillings too.
To back up the bagels there is a large selection of cheese cakes and muffins. I usually drop in for a cheesecake and have to leave sharpish as the longer I stay the more I eat in this place.
I have never been there in the evening, but there is usually something going on. Now if they had more space…

A busy restaurant and always some people will be found eating or sipping a coffee outside. The food is good, but I find the prices a little too high for Turkish food of a quality that elsewhere would be about half the price. But I guess you are paying for the ambience.

I am one of those people who like their food to have been semi sentient at some point but I really enjoyed their pumpkin soup. Atmosphere is good, service is ok. (On two occasions I had Greek waiters and that got me a larger cake portion ;-)
