Seaham Carpet Centre - Seaham
16 Church Street, Seaham, Durham SR7 7HQ
15-11-2008
This shop looks small from the outside, but once you have a look in, it’s much bigger, and stretches right back. This of course means a big range of carpets. They also do a small selection of furniture. The best thing about this shop is the friendliness and service received on getting the carpet fitted. Very fast workers, with plenty to chat about
Park Lane Cards - Murton
Dalton Park, Seaham, Durham SR7 9HU
15-11-2008
Very very cheap, yet good quality cards. Massive selection too, with many choices for many different occasions. If you need a card, you can guarantee they will have something to your taste. It’s nice to have a card shop that has more than 2 cards available for each occasion.
Karan's Florists - Seaham
55 Church Street, Seaham, Durham SR7 7HF
15-11-2008
Lovely little florists on Church Street. Massive selection considering the size of the shop. Also have a large display outside which usually has something along the lines of what you’re looking for. If not, then you can wander inside to browse an even bigger range. Staff are very helpful, friendly, and chatty.
Foggins Newsagents - Seaham
49 Church Street, Seaham, Durham SR7 7HF
15-11-2008
Great little newsagent right at the centre of Church street. Offers a very large range of birthday cards, newspapers, and magazines. Much bigger range than your average newsagent, and always has friendly staff on hand to help you.
Dickie Dido's - Seaham
70 Church Street, Seaham, Durham SR7 7HE
15-11-2008
Located at the bottom of Church Street, this fancy dress shop offers a surprising range to choose from considering the size of it. They nearly always have something for everyone, and if not, they can even order it in for you, although expect to pay slightly more for this.
Barnardo's - Seaham
64 Church Street, Seaham, Durham SR7 7HF
15-11-2008
Barnardo’s is a lovely little charity shop located in the middle of Church Street. Always has friendly voluntary staff who provide great service. Usually have a very broad range of good quality items for sale, but this of course changes practically week on week.
Volunteer Arms - Seaham
St Johns Square, Seaham, Durham SR7 7JE

Lovely little pub, very cheap and has a great atmosphere. Has pool table, jukebox, plenty of seating. Also hosts various events such as dominoes, pool tournaments, and card nights. Food is also sometimes available for a very small price. Sometimes have live bands playing friday or saturday nights also.
Phoenix Inn - Seaham
Stockton Road, Seaham, Durham SR7 0HJ
30-10-2008
Recently done out, very nice inside, and has a separate room used for functions, or on weekends is usually opened up as a dance floor. Prices are decent, and has a welcoming vibe to it
Dunn Cow - Seaham
The Village Seaton, Seaham, Durham SR7 0NA
30-10-2008
Really nice area, and an even better atmosphere inside. Feels like a proper pub, however, the mood is dampened by the slightly expensive prices, and the fact that the sometimes cram twice as many people in there as there should be.
Times Inn - Dalton-le-Dale
Seaham, Durham SR7 8QA
30-10-2008
Located in a lovely area, has the usual pub necessities, pool table, jukebox, and plenty of seating. Prices range from average to slightly expensive depending on what you buy. Get some decent bands on friday and saturday nights too.
