I recently had a Brazilian Keratin treatment at Denny’s. I have had this procedure before at a different hairdressers in Manchester. The results were immediately amazing. All my frizz and dryness vanished. However, the results at Denny’s were terrible. My hair was in worse condition than when I arrived. It was very frizzy and my hair was full of static. When I asked the hair stylist why my hair was very frizzy after the treatment, I was told that split ends showed up. I didn’t have any split ends. My hair had been cut 6 days earlier.
When I got to the train station and looked in a mirror, I couldn’t believe the state my hair was in. I looked like I had been plugged in!
The procedure was not followed correctly. Hair should be immediately straighter, softer and have no frizz. Either the product used was sub standard or the hair stylist was not experienced in the procedure.
I used a Groupon coupon which cost £58. It was a total waste of money. I am very annoyed at myself for not making a fuss at the time. I just wanted to leave as I was so embarrassed.
hillyh I wish i had read this review before I too wasted £58 at Dennys – had Brazillian straightening 2 weeks ago at Dennys – my hair is as curly & frizzy today as it was before I went there -a complete waste of money – I have had this done twice before elsewhere with much more success . Dennys offer the treatment for £ 53 for returning customers – i will not be returning . To be fair to the stylist – she appeared to to the procedure in the same way as the other salons but the solution must be the issue. bizarrely some keratin post treatment products were in the salon with a manufacturers label giving the same address as the salon !!!!
