Moolis - Soho

50 Frith Street, Soho, London W1D 4SQ

20-02-2013

My favourite place for a quick lunch on a workday. Their trademark dishes are without a doubt delicious and very tasty., especially the chicken mooli I totally recommend trying that one. Prices are pretty decent considering this place is in Soho and you receive great quality and nice portions.

Cecconi's - Mayfair

5a Burlington Gardens, Mayfair, London W1S 3EP

14-01-2013 (updated on 20-02-2013)

It is easy to book a table there and enjoy your time there. The prices are just normal, but the service sometimes is kind of a slow one. However, the meals are appealing and you won't regret it if you go there. For sure you won't resist one their delicious desserts like Crème caramel, Tiramisu, Home-made ice-cream and sorbet. The Vanilla cheesecake is one of my favourite desserts there.

Dejans Cake Adventures - Catford

54 Honley Road, Catford, London SE6 2JB

31-01-2013

Bought a cake from Dejans for my wife's birthday and she loved it. It was literally a last minute order, but she managed to make the cake and even personalized it. It was a beautiful cake, but most importantly it was very tasty and gluten-free. The icing wasn't too sweet and the base was very soft and I think there was lemon in it, which made it really fresh. Additionally the cake was delivered right on time and the staff, that delivered it was really friendly and polite. Definitely will be using them again!

Daunt Books - Marylebone

83 Marylebone High Street, Marylebone, London W1U 4QW

The prices were acceptable, I found a book that I'd been searching for a really long time. I am happy that I went there. Keep in mind that even if you're not buying something in particular, you can spend some really pleasant time- they have a big variety of interesting books. The staff provided me with good service too, they were polite and were not pushing me to buy. They gave me time to decide on my own.

Cleaners Acton - Plaistow

43 Chaucer Rd, London W3 6DP

14-01-2013

I have a big flat and I don't have time for cleaning, especially if I have a lot of tasks at work and I have to stay there more than my usual working hours. When I wanted to book a cleaning the woman was really polite on the phone and gave me advices too. I made a reservation for the next day and I am happy that the cleaners had the opportunity to come so soon. I expected some relatives to come. Fortunately, everything was completely clean when the cleaners left. They charged me more than I expected actually, but no matter of this.. I am glad that I was provided with a professional cleaning service.

Catford Bridge Tavern - Catford

Station Approach, London SE6 4RE

Great place.
A few years ago when I moved in the area I visited this place with a couple of friends. Since then it has become my local pub and I just love spending my free time there, enjoying the food and drinks. Atmosphere is good, because the rooms are quite spacious and well decorated. I must say this place has only improved through the years. At first it was just an ordinary English pub, but right now it's very trendy and cosy.
Staff are all great and very welcoming and it will be a shame if the place is shut down.
For people, who like to eat and drink in a cosy atmosphere and not empty their entire wallet in just a few days.

Blythe Hill Tavern - Catford

319 Stanstead Road, Catford, London SE23 1JB

A really nice place for a night out with the guys. We love to go there to watch the game and enjoy a nice drink  while having fun.
Although the place is pretty crowded the beer there is totally worth it and it's at a decent price. The pub consist of five or six secluded areas, which give the customers a nice comfortable feeling and you don't have to worry about being too loud or having other people listen in on your conversations. The live fire makes the place feel like a home away from home and you just lose track of time and spend the whole evening there.
Staff are all very friendly and welcoming and not only that but you could also meet nice new people there and not the usual snobbish ones.
Simply the best place in the area.
