Hungover on a Saturday and needed a good stodgy meal. Not wanting to sit out in public we got a take away from GBK on Northcoates road. I’ve eaten at GBK before but wasn’t overly impressed, however on this day I went for a classic cheese burger. Amazing, fitted my mood and hunger perfectly and devoured it within five minutes in front of the rugby.
Only problem I have with this place and why it has not got 5* is that two burgers and two sprites came to £19.20!!!!!!
Now that is ridiculous.

We were very excited to go here as we’d been to similar places in Portugal.
The cocktails were good and the food from middle table - the salads and hot plated food was good. However the main part, the meat on sticks have a distinct flavour that leaves a taste in your mouth of a gas nature, although its meant to be cooked in charcoal.
The decor is ok, but has a cheap look to it.
Overall not impressed

Best clubbing night in Manchester for a long time. The main factor being that its all about teh music as theres not alot else!
Its in a tunnel underneath Piccadilly Train Station, even the loo’s are porta loo’s but this all adds to the atmosphere which is like a proper old skool rave.
Sasha has said that this is his favourite UK night to play at. Need I say anymore.
The line ups are great and something for everyone, you just have to choose the right weekend.

A great place in the summer or the winter. In the summer there is a massive out side area that is right next the canal. They also have barbeques where you can buy hotdogs, burgers and eat them as a snack out side.
It has many options for food with the pizza and chees counter in the pub abd then they’ve added a new extension that caters for people wanting to sit down in a more restaurant style area with a full menu that is very good.
I like the decor, its got a pub feel about it yet is done to a mordern standard so is not dated at all.
A great place to go for food and drink. Get down there.

A great place for late night drinks. It has different style nights on over the weekends and is located under Mojo’s.
Always friendly staff and a good party atmosphere. Music is good with plenty of girls on the dance floor.
Good place to go at the start of the night or at the end. The decor is very funky and in the mens loo you can drain the weasel in urinals that are shaped like Mick Jaggers lips.
