I had a makeover last year with New ID and I enjoyed it so much that this year I decided to treat my niece to a makeover. When I went online I was very happy to find that they were doing two for one deal so not only could I treat her to a rather enjoyable spot of pampering I could go and enjoy some more of the same myself, and of course it was a great way to spend a bit of girlie time together that I knew would be thoroughly enjoyable.
We arrived at the salon at just after 9am and both were given a rather charming welcome before being offered a glass of wine or Bucks Fizz, I think we both agreed that it was rather early on in the day to be hitting the booze so we both stuck to coffee that was very nice indeed. We both had our hair washed, cut, blow dried and styled before having the professional makeup application. I was very impressed with the makeup last year and I was just as impressed this year and they did such a super job on Justine, I had tears in my eyes seeing how beautiful she looked.
Justine was a little nervous before the photoshoot but having been there before it was very easy to reassure her that it would be fine and it was very easy to get through and actually an awful lot of fun which it was. We both got a lot of out of it and had both joint and single photos taken. We had a rotten job choosing the pictures as they were all so good but that is our only complaint so it really cant be bad if the pictures being too good is the only dilemma that comes along during the day. New ID gets our thumbs up 100%!
