we recently went here for a school prom. the room was decorated lovely but the standard of the food was poor considering the cost. the room wasnt ready when we arrived so we all had to wait outside. the service was slow and we didnt get our pudding til nearly 10pm. the drink prices on the bar were extorniate and the dance floor was too small. would not recommend

this is awonderful shop that does delicious food. we order from here every friday and they do a variety of hot and cold sandwiches. their best (bacon, egg, sausage and tomato) sandwich is to die for. they also do tasty jacket potatoes and a variety of salad boxes. they have a wide selection of fillings and you can eat in, take out or have it delivered if you spend over a certain amount. it is very popular in the local area so beware it can get very busy!

this is a brill soft indoor play centre. they have two areas - one for under 5’s and one for older children. it cna get very busy. the equipment is well maintained. they also have a ball playing area with goals and basketball nets. they have a cafe which serves hot and cold food although i do find the prices quite expensive, good size portions though. the past few times i have been it has been very cold in there so take a jumper. the toilet and baby changing facilities are very good and look out for craft sessions or other baby related workshops!

i can only support fruity tarts comments! this is a wonderful place. my daughter knows the staff by name and they are so friendly. we attend the read and craft sessions there on friday mornings 10.45 - 11.15 where they have books read to them for a short amount of time before embarking on a wonderful craft activity (the mothers normally complete these with the help of the children! i get very proud of my achievements!)
it can get very busy on the computers and some of the children on them are very loud however it is still a lovely friendly atmosphere

the members of this club are so friendly. they train on monday evenings 7.30 til 9.30 at king edwards high school opposite Birmingham University. You can train for fun or join one of their many teams who play on saturday mornings. they are coached by a well qualified coach and umpire - Ian Fuller and work on both fitness and skill game play. they stage a charity tournament every september which is well atttended. they have a team in the regional league if you play at high level. you can buy drinks from vending machines. they make you feel really wlecome and are one of the nicest clubs in birmingham in my opinion
camp hill cricket club - Birmingham

this a friendly cricket club set in a beautiful area. near to coronation football club these grounds are well maintained by the grounds staff. unfortuanately they are struggling for players this year and may have to mrge with another club. The drive to the ground is slightly bumpy and you may struggle for parking - unless you dont mind the risk of your car being hit by flying cricket balls! The club house has a lovely decking area with a sun cover and serves the usual drinks and cricket teas. they have a dart board and pool table and it can get very busy on good weather days. The club house has been broken into a few times which is a shame as the members are a lovely friendly bunch.

this is quiet play area that not many people know about. built in the middle of a new housing estate, this play areahas a variety of activities for small children e.g climbing frames, swings, slides etc. because it is not very well publiscised it is always very quiet and there are not problems from loud youths. there is also no litter and railings around the perimeter so you feel safe. there is a soft floor area to cushion falls.

this is a lovely shop that i use for my craft equipment and stationery. parking can be a problem however i usually park in the aldi car park opposite. they stock a wide range of crafting materials, embellishments, paper, stamps, scarpbooking kits etc. they also offer a laminating and color photocopying services. the staff are friendly and helpful if you dont know how to use the machines. they have presentation areas to give you ideas and have sale items currently.

this is a large store with fresh fish and there market street range. there are lots of parking including parent and child and disabled. i hardly struggle to get a parent space however i do get annoyed when people without children abuse these spaces. The shop is clean and well laid out however the shelves can be empty at certain times - namely friday nights. The staff are friendly however they are not very knowledgable about all the areas of the shop and you may have to search to find someone who will answer your question. The queues at the checkout can get very large as they often dont have enough cashiers on.

i have used this bowling alley both for private use and taken school groups there. the staff are very helpful and fix any lane problems very quickly. the computers allow you to key in your own data and change the bumpers for each player which is brill. they have a cafe on site although the food is very expensive and i have had to complain about the quality before however they apologised, fixed the problem and gave us a free game of bowing each. There are a wide range of machines and arcade rides there so take extra money as the kids wont leave until theyve used the dance mat! there is a frankie and bennys and chiquitos outside and lots of parking spaces however park as close as possible as there has been quite a few break ins in the dark areas of the car park.
