I went into the Restaurant in the Oxford Street Branch of  British Home Stores -  I bought a coffeee & sat down. Not happy it came from a machine.  Suddenly a scream went around the restaurant I looked around and there was a mouse running around the restaurant - it was caught by two waiters right in front of my table.  DONT VISIT .

Had a wonderful really creative evening at Cabana. Qype had done a brilliant job. We were greeted by T and her Qype colleagues . Given a lovely Brazilian cocktail – which I had never had before- really nice & I am now a fan! Then we were introduced to the PASTEL (a street food made with special pastry ) very difficult to make – so you can buy it from the Queen of pastry maker Rossane . I filled mine with cheese & marinated chicken pieces. It was deep fried & the cheese melted beautifully with each mouthful. Then we got active and were introduced by Dende Capoeira School – Some Capoeira movements & how to play their authentic Capoeira instrument. We all ended with a great native Brazilian song.
The restaurant itself was really nice & filled up quickly & it is right opposite the Olympic Park Gate where I had been the week before to watch the diving. Great evening. Will have to return to actually review the food served. But me and my friend Patrick loved the evening.

Had the great priveledge of being a spectator at one of the The diving events as London Prepares at The Aquatic Centre. I just loved the building Designed by Zaha Hadid you really feel you are “under the belly of the whale”. It is beautiful – the best swimming pool I have ever seen. You just want to jump in and make a big Splash it feels so inviting. Apparently the building has walls which extend to allow for more seating when it is full to capacity. The diving pool has been designed with windows deep down so that the competitiors can be filmed under water. I guess that facility exists in the swimming pool. Not sure what happened to the air conditioning because it was extremely hot. But a terrific experience. COME ON GB!!!

My Local Indian. Fantastic!. Great atmosphere - always full. Hot Stuff has bought great food to a little known road. Full of regular customers - which is a recommendation in itself. You would do well to book in advance.
I have watched it grow and only hope that it doesn’t grow out of its small self and move!!!!!!! Of course it could take over the chippy next door. Thats my posssibility for HOT STUFF.

Absolutely the best Jazz Club in the whole of the UK & Ireland. For jazz fans this is where we get to see the Top Jazz Musicians from the USA.
You only really get the greatest jazz in a club atmosphere - 'cause thats where Jazz was born. It needs atmosphere and energy from the audience. You only get a “performance” in a concert hall not an experience!!!!.
