stayed her for my honeymoon in 2005. We got upgraded to a harbour view room on the 23rd floor. this room has a floor to ceiling window with a view over to hong kong Island absolutely fantastic !! also got complementary breakfast & pre dinner snacks and cocktails . Ate in the hotel once - in the buffet on the ground floor, loads of food to choose from and includes wine & beer !! Hotel has a rooftop swimming pool with fantastic views over Hong Kong.
A short walk along the harbour front to the star Ferry terminal, but too far to walk to Kowloong main shopping areas - get the tube !!
Definately would stay here again.

Stayed here for 4 nights . Hotel is located at the top of Orchard road - one of the main shopping streets in Singapore. The botanical gardens are just over the road.
As with most hotels in asia your get the biggest bed you have ever seen. a huge room and good bathroom. a programmable safe is in your wardrobe. the food is very good and room service timely.
the service from all the staff can’t be faulted.

this is now known as the Crowne Plaza. I’ve stayed here twice - once as the Holiday Inn - where it was a standard faceless hotel. and more recently as the Crowne Plaza - and I couldn’t belive the difference. It is now a posh boutique style hotel - with prices to match. Luckily there was a free bar at the wedding (the reason I was staying there) otherwise I’d have needed a mortgage to buy a few beers.

I stayed here for my brother wedding in August. The rooms are in above a nice restaurant/bar. We have a nice big double room (85 euors per room per night) with own shower/toilet and TV. The room was in a good state of repair and nice clean bedding.No breakfast. the people working in here spoke a small amount of English and I speak only a small amount of German, but between us we managed very well. The hotel is over the road from an old church, and the bells ring at 6am every morning - these do wake you up and the bells seem to ring and ring and ring !!!
I would stay here again, Seligenstadt is a beautiful place and well worth the visit.

Trying to find a cheap place to stay in Dublin is hard. We opted for Durban house - it cost us 45 euros per person per night. You get a tatty looking room with own shower/toilet room & TV (but clean sheets … phew ) and a huge breakfast for you rmoney. the B&B is situated on a fairly busy road - I didn’t suffer from any sleep depravation dure to the noise - but possible because of the amount of Guinness I drank. B&B is near the train station and is quite central - a 5 minute alk to Grafton Street or the River.
I wouldn’t recomment this place to my friends purley of the state of the rooms but all in all other than the state of repair in the room this was quite a good deal.

Good department store but looking a bit dated, seems to focus on older people - the clothes are comfortable not fashionable, and the furniture is very old fashioned. But one thing that is worth preserving is the customer service - Fenwicks do great customer service polite and helpful - not inyour face or pushy . this store has 4 floors, a cafe , furniture & crafts on the top, womenswear and soft furniushings on the 2nd floor, kitchen, cosmetics, stationary, luggage and handbags on the ground and more kitchen on the lower ground floor.

Bargains galore . I love ebay , I spend my life on ebay. I buy and sell with very little problem. the feeback system used tries to ensure a safe honest environment to trade. one warning though - once you use ebay you get addicted

The best shopping channel. I’ve been a regular customer for years and have no compaints. they really do have a no quibble money back guarantee - I know cos I do return things . Buying from TV / online is always a gamble because you can’t physically touch the stuff - you need to know that it is no risk. Where else can you try a top brand moisturiser for 30 days then return it for a full refund !!

I use amazon quite a lot. I have found them very reliable and usually very good on prices. They now offer free p&p on orders over £5 whihc is normally every order . One thing to watch out for is they alos sell for other traders, and they’re p&p is quite often very expensive - but when you are placing your order it becomes very clear if you have to pay postage or not. I’ve been happy with their returns policy too. I order a large piece of exercise equiptment but it was much bigger in real life when it arrived and there were nto issues at all when I returned it - and money was repaid ver y promptly. how all online retailers should be.
