At last!
Shop has now reopened and we're getting the post office back on 19th April...
No more treks to kendal to spand the morning in a queue!

Durante une recente visita a Silverstone, giravamo in cerca di un posto dove mangiare. Non conoscendo la zona, abbiamo visto il Saracens Head e la loro terrazza sembrava molto invitante. Vorremmo raccomandare il servizio, ottimi prezzi e il miglior fish and chips ( con mushy peas) che abbiamo mangiato in anni! Da provare!

Durant une visite recente a Silverstone, on s'est ballade en voiture le samedi soir, en cherchant un endroit ou manger. Ne connaissant pas le quartier, on a vu l'hotel The Saraces Head et leur terrasse nous a attire. On aimerait recommender leur service et leur restaurant... Tres bon rapport qualite prix.... et le meilleur fish and chips (avec puree de petits poids) que nous avons mange depuis des annees! Ca vaut vraiment la peine d'y aller!

Can't think of anything bad to say about KWIK FIT KENDAL. They really go the extra mile to help out in an emergency.
Having recently had the bad luck of having my vehicle vandalised they even sent their technicians out to me at no extra cost! Who does that today!

Was a fantastic, friendly place but unfortunately has closed due to cutbacks has have so many of our smaller "post offices" throughout the area.

En una reciente visita a Silverstone, dimos una vuelta el sábado por la noche para encontrar un sitio donde cenar. Sin conocer la zona, vimos el hotel Saracens Head y su terraza tenía un aspecto muy invitante. Nos gustaría recomendar su servicio y las instalaciones del restaurante. Fantástico precio. ¡¡Y el mejor fish and chips (con guisantes blandos)que haya comido en muchos años!! ¡¡Bien vale una visita!!

Was voted best "chippy" by Lakeland Radio in 2008 ..keeping up the standards and a good choice if your in the area.

All in all well worth a visit!

On a recent visit to Silverstone we drove around on the Saturday evening looking for a place to eat.
Not knowing the area we spotted the Saraces Head Hotel and their terrace looked very inviting.
We would like to recommend their service and restaurant facilities….fantastic value for the money… and the best fish and chips (with mushy peas) we’ve had in many years!
Well worth a visit!
