Kids love this place. A castle and donkeys! Full of history and more than just ruins. Lovely grounds for picnics. Donkeys work an ancient water wheel and of course spend time with the children. Great facilities, great staff.

What can i say? Pure bliss. You just have to try the rooftop pool which is just heaven on earth. Not snobby nor costly. Both tourists and locals. Steam rooms are amazing with different aromas. Try the taster 2 hour session. Tip - take your robe, slippers and towel to keep the cost down.

Sweet little castle ruins enclosed by a moat. No facilities but lovely for a short trip and a picnic. Fishing was happening! Interpretation boards explain some ofthe history. The church close by is worth a visit.

Even my teenage son loved this place. Although mostly ruins, children can still run around its walls pretendng to be knights. Up and down the moat went my rather large teenage son! Steeped in history this castle still is a great afternoon out. Use the audio tour to understand the history. The church remains which has some of the best preserved medieval wall paintings. Well worth a visit.
