The best place for a quiet cup of tea or coffee. There is a lot of choice and I can say from a few visits that the cakes are to die for. I'd recommend the chocolate cake and the lavender-ish cake served with creme fraiche (i think). Although I've not tried the food, I really do like this cafe, it's different to most of the coffee shops around here. They also sell little chocolate treats on the till and gifts which are stacked on shelves on the wall. I'm giving this place five stars as it's unique and the prices reflect the quality of this lovely cafe.

Went to spicy vujon on a quiet evening and had a great time. We managed to get four mains and sides for around £45, which worked out well for 4 people! The staff were friendly to us and gave us some complimentary popadoms and asked if we'd like some drinks. The decor of the restaurant is quite nice and it felt really quite relaxed in there. The food was enjoyable and we took some home with us as we couldn't finish it all. Overall I'd say we had a lovely time and the waiting staff were friendly and swift (but not too swift where you feel rushed). The prices are absolutely fantastic and they offer discounts to take-away and for students to eat in. Would go back in future.

Would definitely recommend this place. Huge amount of options and the staff will always cater to any extra fillings that you want (I know from experience..!). The crepes are a really decent size and I feel you really get your moneys worth. They also do a pretty decent coffee too, had a nutella/mocha type drink the other week and it was super nice. The people who run it are always friendly and smile when you come in, which makes the experience that much sweeter. :)

The cafe is in a beautiful setting, but the experience was rather let down by the service we recieved. My mother and I went to the caban for her birthday and ordered a bacon baguette. She recieved a sandwich and when we told this to the waitress she didn't really seem that bothered but took it away. She returned with the bacon baguette which looked like it had just been thrown onto the plate with the bacon just stuffed into the baguette. The staff just didn't seem bothered or that friendly that day. Also pretty unimpressed with the side salad which was not much more than limp lettuce and a few bits of cucumber. It's disappointing as I've gone to Caban a few times over the last few years but I think it's gone downhill a bit. Sorry to say it!
