Great cafe on St Marys Loch in the scottish borders. The present owners have bought the cafe up from nothing. It is now very popular on the touring circuit (for the in crowd) and is well known as a spot to stop while travelling through from the border up to Edinburgh.

Good local Indian Restaurant and take away - very popular with the locals - has become somewhat of a landmark Definately worth popping into if you are in Selkirk

Great local development in the heart of Hawick, containing the local tourist info centre, a beansene cafe and the local cinema also doubling as the local music centre.

The cafe has a great spot right above the local river, a glass display area extends out over the river so you can sit out above the water and feel warm no matter what the weather

Cakes are made on site - lovely and fresh, and there is great coffee and a range of sandwiches and bagettes.
They also sell a range of local produce, cheeses and italian themed foods

Not the best Indian in town so not recomended - they need to work harder - fresher food, quicker service. I m afraid it can probably be called the local chew and spew. Not very flattering I know

Good little local chain bagette maker. The firs shop started in Galashiels. Great choice and the prices are excellent as well. Good for a quick bite

Probably the best Chinese Restaurant in town. Has a good priced lunch menu. Very popular with the local population which is always a good sign.
