Tried out this restaurant yesterday with friends, after almost a year of planning to but neever gettign around to it. It's a very small but nice looking place with an equally small but nice looking menu. We all tried different dishes and were more than happy with them, the food is well-seasoned and only slightly spicey, so don't be afraid when the menu says spicey.
Wht you get here is not only ethiopian food but the ethiopian food experience: you eat with your hands, using bread to pick up the food. It sounds messy, but the dishes are suited for this mode of consumption. There are some vegetarian options, our gluten intolerant could get rice instead of the bread with no trouble and the staff were friendly and helpful inboth German and English.
You should definitely have some coffee after dinner (or just go there for the coffee) because their ethopian coffee is delicious and was made with a little ceremony and demonstration how coffee is roasted and prepared traditionally. 
A very well-spent evening, we'll go again for sure. The only light criticism: our dishes arrived a few minutes apart.
