I have been to the Brixton location twice now, once during the week for a 630pm appointment and once for a 10am appointment. Both times I arrived to find the salon locked. The first time one of the girls had gone out to get food while the other was with a client, when she returned to let me in, the wax was cold and I had to wait longer. The second time I called when the gate/shutter was still down at 10am (the only number which does not contact the Brixton location directly) to be told "She lives in North London, she'll be there shortly"  (I am sorry, no excuse). She did arrive shortly she didn't apologize for the fact that I had been waiting outside and then told me it would be another 10 minutes to heat up the wax. I made the first appointment of the day to avoid having to wait, if you are not ready for clients at 10am, don't take 10am appointments. Maybe I am impatient, but tardiness, in my opinion, demonstrates a complete lack of respect, especially when it is not accompanied by the slightest apology.

The actual wax was average at best and for 30£ definitely not worth it. I understand that thirty 30£ isn't particularity expensive but when you spend more time waiting than being waxed, it leaves much to be desired. Most salons make an effort with stubborn hairs, here was really the bare minimum effort.  Both times I found the wax particularly painful but that could be me.

All and all, I do not recommend this salon
