A great pub this. Its a CAMRA award winning pub that also does good local food - not pub chain stuff! Lot's of real ale on offer (4/5 at any one time) with beer festivals planned too.
Well worth a visit if in area.

I used this place for the first time last weekend. They advertise a selection of real ales on the window, but there was only two available on the pumps inside - the rest were lagers and smoothpour. Its a nice looking pub both inside and out and seems friendly enough. I will visit again when in area as its a change from my usual place "The Turnpike."

Je suis allé dans ce lieu pour la première fois le week end dernier. Ils font la publicité pour une sélection de vraies bières sur la fenêtre, mais ils y en avait seulement deux de disponibles à la pompe à l'intérieur - le reste étaient des blondes et smoothpour. C'est un joli pub tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur et semble assez sympathique. Je le visiterai encore quand je serai dans le coin car ça change de mon usuel endroit "The Turnpike".

Been in here a few times now and always had a good pint of ale. Deuchards IPA this time although Hobgoblin was on too.
Meals are pricey but look good. I had the cheese and onion sandwich for £3.50.
Always pop in here when in Bawtry.
