Would be a zero star if possible, without doubt the worst Chinese takeaway I have ever had. Me, my wife and the mother in law had the misfortune of calling in on the way back from a day out, each meal tasted absolutely disgusting and the whole lot were binned almost untouched. Stay clear.

Not the nicest Chinese in Birtley. All food tastes very similar.

Over priced undercooked fish and chips. Lucky not to find some of the staffs chewing gum in my chips.

Fantastic hidden gem. Unless you know the place is there you'd never find it. Fantastic tasting food. Chips are always brown and tasty, never dry, anaemic or soggy. Excellent value. One of the two best chip shops in the Birtley/Chester area.

Top Chinese taleaway in Birtley and Chester Le Street by a mile. The food is fantastic and the staff are really friendly. Almost all dishes contain fresh veg, not just the onions and bean sprouts supplied by other establishments. The queues on a Friday and Saturday evening prove how popular this Chinese is.

Much better than the establishment next door! Tried this place for a change and was not disappointed, have been back numerous times since. Their pirri pirri chicken kebabs are excellent, the accompanying salad is always fresh and tasty. Staff are also really friendly.

This was once a great place for kebabs, unfortunately it has gone downhill over the past few years. They seem to be living on their past reputation.

For a small business who relies on repeat custom the owner has a lot to learn about customer service. The selection of bikes is not huge, but it's only a small premises. Although it's just around the corner to my house I'd rather go to travel to another independent retailer in Newcastle to spend my money than give this rude ignorant man another pound.
