ellisbexter I absolutely agree.
They also house illegal immigrants themselves so they have absolutely no room to talk. They are a bunch of crooks and if you say anything or do anything they don’t like they will evict you just becasue – EVEN IF YOU HAVE NOT BROKEN ANY RULE. if they decide they don’t like you they will simply GO AFTER YOU. They employ mostly spotty lads who have recently finished uni and have nothing else to do but go around sniffing about other peoples items in the properties. They have no right to go through personal items but they do!!! They are supposed to just check the state of the property. We found we were living with an illegal immigrant and had to notify the UK Border Agency!!!!
Funny but the agency tried to shut us up and told us he was legal. The police did nothing either and could not care less. That’s Leeds Police!!!!
Anyway UK Border Agency Police came and took him away. The agency lad (MUTANT) who came round tried to tell us he was legal and then handed me an eviction notice for contacting UK Border Agency Police. I DON’T THINK SO AD HOC!!!!! They are an absolute joke and are renting COUNCIL PROPERTIES MOSTLY – TRUELY SHOCKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They charge you £50 extra each month for bills WHICH THEY DO NOT PAY. The owner of the property takes all of the bills, always.
They will try and evict you for myriad petty reasons, and also will do routine roomchecks and rifle through your personal belongings to look for'clues' that you might be subletting. I had a friend's passport in my room as I was looking after some travel luggage for her, and they took her passport, made us come back into the office to collect it ad then tried to evict me for subletting. Absolute nightmare.
You will never get your deposit back, damp, leaks, infestations, electricity problems etc are NEVER seen to and they will make you pay for it out of your own pocket.
