Tucked away in a corner of Burgess Park near Camberwell lies Chumleigh Gardens. A collection of small cottages used as conference suites for hire, the infamous Jazz cafe, landscaped gardens with wild flowers, herbs and an aray of wildlife.
The cafe is open everyday, with Sundays hosting jazz on the terrace on a sunny afternoon. Children are more than welcome and the gardens are safe and secure.
The sunday roast is a must. Weekdays offer homemade cakes, speciality coffees and all day breakfast. And the decor is to die for. Vivid bright colours on the walls, decoupage on the tables and a collection of china and teapots from around the world adorn the shelves and bookcases. Fairy Lights and candles, photos and artwork on the walls make this a pleasant retreat to meet and chat with friends. Many a famous face has taken afternoon tea at Chumleigh, you never know who you might meet.

Poppy Hana offer a fantastic menu of Japan fusion cuisine, A wide selection of Sushi, Tempura, Katsu curries and Noodle dishes served within a comtemporary modern interior at affordable prices.
The fish is fresh daily and this is reflected in the high quality of the dishes as are the sauces that are all made by hand on site. Located next to Bermondsey Jubilee line Tube station, the restaurant is fully licenced with a good selection of wines and beer. A take away service is also available
