Zipcar is a great idea. It is easy to use and very economical when living and working in the city. I would reccommend anyone who needs a car for an hour or so to use Zipcar. They have wicked cars from Mini’s to BMW’s. All you have to do it pay a standard fee (which is very reasonable) and drive! The fee includes congestion charge, petrol and insurance. Thumbs up!

If you are looking for a great day out this is where to go. There are lots of animals to see and things to do. I would reccommend going in a car that you don’t mind getting damaged as some cute little monkeys decided to pull off my windscreen squirter things. You can see tigers, lions, zebra, monkeys and lots of other animals here. You can also take a look around the house in the grounds which is a wonderful sight. Take a look at paintings from the past and learn a little about what life was like in the olden days. A wonderful day out for families, couples and groups of friends. There is something for everyone here. Oh but one thing - take a picnic with you - the food is very expensive for what you get!

Good food, decently priced drinks, fantastic atmosphere - what more could you want?
There is a beer garden for smokers that is part-covered for rain. The decor is quirky but cool, you feel at home when you sit down with your drink and sink into the seats.
It also holds regular quiz night where you can win a decent amount of cash and luckily if you miss the last food order there are take-aways nearby where you can grab some much when the bar staff kick you out at closing time.

I wasn’t impressed with the Tate. I went on a lunchtime and to be honest with a few exceptions most of the “art” looked like something a worm covered in paint rolling across a piece of paper could have created. The concept of “modern art” is really just an excuse for non-talented people to get noticed. I mean really - a crack in a floor! Not interested thank you very much! Oh and it was full of scruffy screaming kids!

Camden has changed a great deal over the few years I have been in London. There are still great finds to be had but it is now geared to the more gothic/emo type crowd. You used to be able to find vintage bargains in the seocnd hand shops but now everything seems to cost a fortune and be all black, studded, metal and fetishy! It is a place to visit when you are in London just for the experience but I wouldn’t reccommend it for serious shoppers.
