Ten of us went for a festive set menu. The food was absolutely dreadful and the service disinterested. Portions tiny, unripe unappetising melon with a sour compote or none at all. More stuffing then turkey in a soggy lump. 1 small tray of roat potatoes that were reheated. 1 small tray of new potatoes with no butter or garnish. 1 small tray of veg that was hard and inevitable- none of the accompaniments enoguh for 10. Goats cheese tart was cold and looked like it had been bought from a discount outlet- more of a flan to be honest. Eton mess was made by someone with no knowledge of what an eton mess is. a revolting blob of cream with fruit puree stired through it and a teaspooon full of crushed meringue dusted over the top all topped off with half a strawberry. Disgusting. I have complained with no response from the management as yet. I have given it one star only because it wouldn’t let me give none for some reason. the best thing about this meal was leaving.

10 of us had a meal at teatime for a works leaving do.
The service was wonderful with really helpful and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The surroundings were warm, intimate and inviting. the price for the set menu was excellent and thre other options looked to be good value. Finally, the food.
It was magnificent! Well done to Stephen and all the staff. We really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely come again. -

This is a fantastic restaurant. It has something for everyone on the menu and is great to bring large groups where there will be diverse tastes as the menu covers, italian, mexican, cajun, chinese, steaks and many others. The owners are friendly and helpful and it is easy to relax and laugh without feeling as if you are spoiling other diners experiences. The prices are good as the quality of the food is always high and consistently well cooked and served.
We went with a group from the calderdale Gay Pride celebration and it was nice that the chef acknowledged where we had been and enquired if we had enjoyed ourselves.
My only small quibble would be that the decor is very dated and it could do with a refurb, plus one of the toilet cubicles is very small.
