My wife is a veggie and the owner was very rude when she asked if they did a veggie option. All she could have was a cheese and beans jacket potato. Stick some Quorn Peppered steaks in your freezer if your a “Steak House” you rude man!!!

In 2012 lack of veggie option reflects the limited skill of the chef and owner. My food wasn’t great basic, cheap Tesco Value type of over cooked steak with Tesco Value type chips.

Not been back.

gorseboy Called at the new grill place yesterday and was welcomed by Chris Seager though I haven’t been to Porterhouse for a while.There is normally a Pasta dish suitable for these veggie folk.Doubt staff or Chris would be rude unless provoked.

Misspot Your review is not my experience of this place at all.
The Porterhouse or the Grillhouse as it is now called, as they have now moved to bigger premises.
Hey this place is always busy, they must be doing somthing right.
Tesco Value type chips. ???? Nahh, I think not.
