I had resisted going to the Dogs for ages. I didn't think it could live up to the hype. I was wrong - the place is a delight.

It is a seriously relaxed atmosphere with super easy food. I don't think there was anything on the menu I wouldn't have eaten. The food is

If you are familiar with the brand this is as good as any express I have stayed in. Very handy for shopping centre and Hull Truck Theatre.

If you are staying here I would recommend Wokkas Chinese Restaurant opposite the front door.

Great little chinese restaurant limited menu but what they do is superb.

An open kitchen and specials add to a great experience.

Make a detour for here the next time you are in Hull.

Mediocre food, poor service, bad wine. Not a lot to remmend this place - too many good restaurants to bother with places like this.

My daughter adores this place. Great selection of cuddly bears to choose from. They have a nice range of accessories to go with them.

With the royal yacht Britannia next to it - a great day out.

Very average pub grub in a nice setting in the village of Torphican a short journey from Bathgate.

The pub has been around since the mid 19th century. Plenty of history and a pleasant enough bar. The beer was good but I wouldn’t travel for the food.

Not quite as good as previous reviews made out. Maybe I chose badly but my pizza was thicker and less crisp than I expected. THe topping was adequate not great.

Everything was alright - just not great. Waiting staff were very friendly.

Good but vastly overpriced. I have eaten here a few times in the pub / inn part. Yet to try the restaurant.

If you go for the much cheaper Inn part then be prepared to wait for a table as they don’t take reservations.

Cheynes have looked after my diminishing head of hair for the last thirty years. I usually have my hair cut by Caroline but if she is not available Lloyd does the deed.

I have alwayus been delighted by the result and always promise to be back more often.
