Large and capacious store. Bags of parking outside, needed too at peak periods. Petrol station onsite. Not the friendliest place nor does it have a congenial atmosphere but it gets the job done.

A car parking nightmare!
Good Hospital with a pleasant cafe.

Large sized store but with friendly staff. Tills are not usually too busy. There is good hot food on sale and a reasonable quality bakery.
Masses of parking which is just as well as it can very busy at peak times.

Great restaurant, the best Indian around for miles. I recommend it thoroughly.

Pleasant country pub with Wifi hot spot.

Situated slightly away from the centre of town just off a busy traffic island this McDonald's is not that easy to get to without a car. It is a 5 minute walk from the shopping centre and the same to the nearby bus and rail stations.

Parking is adequate but no more. There is free wifi and the dining area is reasonably spacious. Like most McDonald's it is usually fairly busy but seldom packed.

The food is to the usual standard.

You can always be assured of a good night out here. It has a very friendly feel, the staff are always helpfull and go out of their way to make sure you have a good time.
They regularly features shows by up and coming and well known comedians as well as more well known ones such as Richard Herring and Jenny Eclair.
Of course there are also a solid program of plays and other theatrical events.
The reputation of CADOS and their home in this theatre is growing.

Typical Aldi store, plenty of interesting stock and twice weekly special lines. Often queues at the understaffed tills, but that is normal for Aldi. Plenty of parking on site. The major annoyance is that they only have large sized trolleys, no baskets or even the min trolleys some other Aldi's use.

The main thing is that there are usually bargains and deals to be had as well as good quality fruit and veg at a very good price.
