This is one of my favourite Indian restaurants. We normally go there for a family meal on Christmas Eve, we were not disappointed when we paid them a visit yesterday. I normally go for something adventurous like the “handi Harry chicken” which is delicious but I took the sensible option of CTM yesterday. It was superb, portions just right, no evidence of food colouring. Seating was spacious and private. Decor modern and clean. Staff polite, in obtrusive, efficient and friendly. Cobra and Kingfisher on tap. Mango chutney tasted fresh and not mass produced. There is now a massive choice for a curry in Berkhamsted, I’m sure you will be pleased with this one. It was £62 for four of us all drinking, main course and pompadoms only.

The Trooper has recently changed hands & I have yet to eat there since this happened however I have popped in for drinks on several occasions whilst out walking around Ashridge. It is still one of my favourite country pubs, a real find and a treasure. Great selection of beers and ales, staff are everything you could wish for. You can take dogs inside, the garden is spacious and appealing. Highly recommended and I will update once I’ve tried the food.

I was most impressed with Springwell Vets they recently neutered my dog for me. Facilities were spotless and extensive – they have in house blood analysis and an x ray machine. Staff were positive, friendly and caring and took the time to explain everything to me. You may be able to find cheaper but think about it before you take a chance on your pets safety, personally I would return here without hesitation.

They do a top notch job using fine materials. They are extremely friendly and positive and will have a go at framing pretty much anything within reason. I have used them a few times and certainly would do so again. They also sell greetings cards etc. Only downside is the price. I have never used any other framing co so not sure how they compare. Though it is expensive, it is worth it- you can see the time and care they take over each piece of work and it is handed back to you carefully packaged.

We have enjoyed two lakelovers holidays staying in a beautiful cottage in Crosthwaite both times. Lakelovers are like a well oiled machine and seem to genuinely want you to get the best out of your holiday. When a piece of furniture was accidentally damaged they were great and just seemed appreciative that we had bothered to let them know. They have a friendly facebook page as well as their main website.

I stayed in Crosthwaite this September and had 3 lunches and a breakfast at the Punch Bowl. Overall I was very satisfied. Staff polite friendly and attentive. Beers cold and well kept. Food- quirky and original. Their chips are cooked twice somehow. The result is un-usual and delicious. The meat is amongst the best I have tasted sourced from an award winning local butcher and cooked with great skill and care. It is not cheap but well worth it for a treat. Dogs welcome in the bar area and adjacent dining are just not in the main dining room.

I have just stayed at Preslili Venture for the Easter Weekend with a group of mates. The staff are to be congratulated for giving as such a brilliant time. I have quite a lot of experience of outward bound style weekends in England, Wales and Europe and this one stood out as being the best. The accomodation was clean, quiet and well deseigned. We were all comfortable and the showers were warm and spacious. There is an on site bar which had a good selection of wines, beers and spirits. The food was fine, the plates are not the biggest however they were happy to give out 2nds and even 3rds. The coasteering was the highlite for me. Look on Youtube for preseli venture coasteering for a flavour of what is in store. The guides were really experienced and knowlegeable, we all felt completely safe with them even though we were in quite a hostile environment. I would definately return here either with my partner or with other mates.

I agree with all of the above - this is your standard Indian Restauraunt and nothing wrong with that. Decent food served by polite friendly staff at a fair price. The Naan breads are particularly good. I have yet to have a sit down meal here but have had many take aways.

I like using this garage, they are polite and do a good job. They are pretty good about matching other peoples prices locally. Never pay the price they first quote you they have always improved on it for me! Nice waiting room with free Tea and Coffee.

I found a nasty dent on my pride and joy yesterday and spent a couple of hours on the internet looking for someone to come and make it right for me. I found the website for The Dent Reoval Specialist and was put off by the deseign and layout of the site. I then spoke to someone in the trade and they gave me this chap's mobile saying he is the best at dent removal locally and is also the cheapest. I gave him a bell and he came around the same day. He was very polite and friendly and spent about an hour removing my dent. It was in a very awkward position right on the swage line of my back door. He used a variety of techniques from light hammer blows, hot air and massaging the metal from behind (wihout removing the trim). The dent is 99% gone now and you would not see it if you did not know it was there. I am very pleased with this service and would definately use again. Don't be put off by the website his Dent removal skills are spot on and he is very reasonable price wise.
