The Prince Of Wales - Cardiff
82-84 St. Mary St, City Centre, Cardiff, Wales CF10 1FA
27-05-2009
A former theater, the prince of wales offers a great place to meet friends before you all head off into town.
Comprising of an up stairs and a downstairs with bars on both floors the prince of wales draws large numbers of people to it.
The pricing is pretty fair with regular drinks deals on each week.
The Walkabout - Cardiff
65-74 St. Marys Street, Cardiff, Wales CF10 1FA
27-05-2009
A fantastic place to go and watch a big sporting match.
It houses a fantastic atmosphere and doubles up as a night club when the lights go out.
Entry to the club is usually around £5. Music being played is often mirrored by the current charts.
The bar is often slow due the vast amounts of people and the pricing is average.
Waterguard - Cardiff
Harbour Drive, Cardiff, Wales CF10 4PA
27-05-2009
This is a great little bar perfect for on a hot day after you’ve been exploring cardiff bay.
The pricing is very reasonable and the staff friendly.
Admittedly its not the sort of place to stay for along time as it lacks atmosphere when not many people are having a drink.
perks cafe - Penarth
windsor road, Penarth, Wales CF64 1JB

Since the introduction of starbucks this great little cafe has very much taken a back seat.
Serving coffee, tea, hot chocolate and a wide range of cakes as well as light lunches is a great place to spend a quiet afternoon
The pricing is very good and the staff are very helpful and polite.
foxy's Deli and Cafe - Penarth
7 Royal Buildings, Victoria Road, Penarth, Wales CF64 3ED
27-05-2009
This is a great little shop selling all the classic things.
The staff are very friendly and although the pricing can be a little high it is worth it for the high quality.
There is also a small cafe from which you can get coffee, tea, cakes etc
There is parking directly outside the shop but it easy to walk too if parking is not an option
hamptons - Penarth
10 Ludlow Lane, Penarth, Wales CF64 1EW
27-05-2009
A expensive but great little shop.
Hamptons combines high quality shopping with a cafe and restaurant.
The shop sells really good home products such as candles, kitchen wear, art.
At Christmas the shop is a definite visit. The owners clearly put in alot of effort into the look of the shop and the staff are always very welcoming.
Schooner Inn Harvester - Penarth
Lavernock Road, Penarth, Wales CF64 5UP
27-05-2009
Very much like a beef eater the harvester serves traditional food at a good price.
Food service is very quick and the staff are friendly.
Parking is onsite but there is limited disabled access due too the number of steps.
Pricing is fair for what you get and children are warmly welcomed
Barons Court Beefeater - Penarth
Barons Court, Penarth Road, Penarth, Wales CF64 1ND

Newly named “toby cavery” the beef eater serves quality food for a good price.
With traditional foods liek burgers, steaks, chicken being served its a great place for family and friends.
You do not generally need to book but it is advised.
There is also a bar section if you are not looking to eat.
The staff are always friendly and food service if good.
Barry Island - Barry
Recess Pavilion Western Arcade, The Promenade, Barry, Wales CF62 5UY
27-05-2009
The beach is the main attraction with its soft sand and lots of space.
It is typically a tourist attraction with its candy floss stalls and beach side shops.
A great place to go on a hot summers day but get there early as it will be packed!
Parking is generally good and you do not need to pay.
Child friendly.
Alphabet Zoo - Cardiff
Unit 5 Stadium Close, Cardiff, Wales CF11 8TS
27-05-2009
A fantastic place to take kids on a rainy day.
Admittedly if i was allowed i would have ago myself.
Its a medium size but has a huge range of things kids can do. From ball pools, slides, climbing frames and tunnels it keeps your kids busy all day!
A fantastic place for a kids party.
