I know I should have put this under the ‘Sports’ category but I was reviewiing a place for coffee in Ramsey and mentioned that the only place to have a good cup that has a great atmosphere, is immaculate, has an extremely friendly smiling staff and is comfortable is The Gym. It is upstairs, so it is not wheelchair friendly though. Also, they do not serve food but I would imagine that you could bring your own snack or sandwich as long as you buy coffee/tea/herbal tea but maybe you should call them first in case I am wrong.

I do not go there to work out and I never feel any pressure – I just go to meet friends and have my cappuccino!

This place is dirty, smelly and very old and boring looking. Coffee was drinkable, but I would not want it again.

I went to the new “The Gym” in Ramsey to look around. They have a very nice, very clean, comfortable sitting area and do an extremely good coffee. The staff are very friendly and there is never any mention or pressure to make you feel that you should join the gym. No food served there though but I was told that I could bring my own in if I wanted to.
I am now going quite often and it is becoming a great place to meet friends.
