Excellent Work
I have used P & B Roofing for the 2nd time in a month.
I would’nt normally write reviews on any company, as I think you should always get a good job, but I have to give P & B Roofing the credit that I think is due.
Approx 1 month ago, I noticed that my end ridge tile on my bungalow was coming loose and had no cement left in it.
I got out my local free paper (the peterlee star), and I saw an add for P & B Roofing and I actually tried to them 1st but I didnt get an answer and I wont ring mobile telephones so been unpatient I telephoned the next roofer that I came to which was a ROOFER based in horden, I also arranged for a company from Easington to come out too.
The first one came and didnt seem too happy that I had called him over something so small and quoted me £120 to secure the ridge tile back down.
The 2nd company came and I got the same impression, but they quoted me £90 to secure it back down, so I went with the £90.00 and arranged for them to come and do the job the following monday.
Monday Morning came and they didnt bother coming, incase I got it wrong I telephoned them and got no answer,
I waited a week and I didnt hear back from them, Chatting whilst playing dominios at my local club, I was told by 2 seperate people to ring P & B Roofing and I spoke with a lady (I think she was the roofer Pauls partner)
She arranged for Paul to come the following afternoon,
Paul arrived with a totally different manner to the other 2 roofers,
and quoted me half the price of the last quotation, which certainly made me very happy.
I asked him if he could do the job right away, he said he was currently working but he promised he would come back at 3pm and do it for me, I prayed that this one would turn up and true to his word he arrived at 3.05pm,
I was impressed as he took his time and rebedded the ridge and also pointed the one beside that was also coming loose for no extra fee.
Its amazing how one roofer quotes £110, another £90 and that one gets the job but doesnt bother showing up, which I am glad about now and P & B Roofing can come out and do it for £45 and kindly do the one beside for no extra cost.
After using them I noticed that P & B Roofing had a good reputation and hadnt been going that long either.
I had been planning to get a new flat roof put on my garage, and after my excellent experience with P & B Roofing I rang Paul up for a price, but like many other people I decided to get a 2nd quote.
I was shocked that for the same job I was quoted double off another company, P & B Roofing would do it for half the price, needless to say he got the job.
I am so impressed it looks excellent and I recieved a written gaurantee, which is good this day and age.
I believe you should always get a good job from tradesmen, as we trust them with our homes, but this isnt always the case and that is why I decided to write this review as credit is really due, excellent value for money and fantastic workmanship…
