Sorry but just didn,t like this pub. Went there with a few mates and the beer was off and staff not very friendly. Maybe they make the effort on St Patrick,s night .

As Travelodges go this is quite a nice hotel due to the fact that its only been here a few months and everything is brand new. Rooms are large and clean with flat screen TV and en suite more importantly it as a nice little bar and restaurant downstairs.

This pub as seen better days. Hopefully the restoration work to nearby properties will once again bring people back but for now give it a miss.

Great pub. Went in there after work ordered food and within 10mins food was cooked and on the table. Staff were really polite and friendly and helpful. Recommend it every time especially on Mondays when some of the beers are £2.10 a pint.

Dont know about the supermarket but the cafe in the store is rubbish. Had tea and scone there the tea was cold and when I asked for another portion of butter with my scone ( They only supply one) they wanted to charge me £0.20p extra. Staff not too friendly either.

Love calling here every Friday afternoon after work. Nice and peaceful after a week of stress. Beer good and the food is excellent. Recommend a visit.

This was my local for a few years. Modern pub and restaurant next to Hollingsworth lake right on the edge of the Pennines close to the" Pennine Way" . Food here is second to none which is cooked by a proper chef not a microwave one.

Never more than half a dozen people in here even on a Saturday night which is a shame as the beer is good and the staff friendly.
