My family and I visited twice during two weeks. The food and service was excellent and the staff were on hand to advise on dishes and even cooked a dish I asked for which was not even on the menu. I would have no hesitation in visiting again.

Authentic tapas bar in a small square on the edge of the town centre with nice seafood and meat dishes. Mainly Spanish clientelle. You can sit on stools around a large bar area and enjoy a drink and a tapas. It also has a good selection of fresh seafood which can be cooked to order

The food and service were excellent. The decor was contemporary and the restaurant was nicely furnished with a nice ambiance.
The manager couldn’t do enough and even get the chef to make a dish for the children which wasn’t even on the menu. I had the king prawn red curry and I can genuinely say it was one of the best Thai seafood dishes I have eaten outside Thailand. The restaurant wasn’t the cheapest I have eaten in, but it was excellent. -

Well worth a visit when In the area. about 10 minutes drive from the town of Nerja. The caves are huge inside and unlike any other caves I have ever been inside, surprisingly warm. There are lots of stairs so they probably aren’t the best trip for people with limited mobility. Under 6 years old get free admission.

A real authentic tapas bar. It is a little bit of the beaten track but well worth seeking out. My family and I visited 4 times in two weeks. Great atmosphere with both locals and tourists and fresh food cooked from scratch on the griddle, not simply microwaved like many other tapas bars. The bar specialises in fresh sea food but there are also plenty of meat tapas available. Drinks are reasonably priced and the service we experienced was very good

I visited with my family and the Haveli was pretty disappointing. The food was overpriced and bland. My wife and I ordered two completely different main courses. She had a Bhuna and I had Chilli chicken masala. they were both exactly the same (In fact my wife who doesn’t like very spicy food had started to eat mine thinking it was the mild dish). It was almost like they made a larger portion of the same curry and then served it in two separate dishes.
When the bill arrived. It was almost 80 euros for one starter, three main courses (all chicken), a glass of wine, two orange juices and a beer so it takes the new record for most expensive Indian restaurant I have ever eaten at. An accolade all the more dubious because of the poor food and uninterested response when I mentioned the issue.
No one asked how the meal was except when I was paying. I mentioned about the dishes being exactly the same and all the lady said was ‘Oh, I’ll mention it to the chef’ as she swiped my credit card, but with no apology or concession. I paid the bill and left.
