I used MacEmergency a while ago following a problem involving my macbook and a bottle of wine. Given that most services these days are done on the high street-it may seem a little odd knocking on someones front door and leaving a valuable item with them. The guys at MacEmergency are fantastic though. They took my mac apart and found that nothing could be done-which in turn they charged me nothing for (compared to somewhere on the high street that wanted to charge me £100 for this service).
Overall-a professional, trustworthy, cost-effective way forward.
