Biba's - Bromley

29 Widmore Road, London BR1 1RW

09-04-2008

Bibas is one of the many nightclubs you’ll find in Bromley and surrounding areas. Some nights you’ll find a lot of students and other nights you might find the 40 pluses. The drinks aren’t very expensive but the entry fee is a bit much most of the time. But it’s local and it’s not all bad. They have strobe lights and the bar staff aren’t usually very good looking but never mind! If you’re dancing you won’t notice any of this stuff so I recommend you take a big bunch of friends with you.

Miso Noodle Bar - West Wickham

132 High Street, London BR4 0LZ

09-04-2008

Miso’s is one of the best noodle bars I’ve ever been to and have had many good times here with my friends. The prices are very good and you’ll never leave there with an empty stomach. There is a huge variety of noodles so you’ll be spoiled for choice. This is definitely a place to take a group of people because it adds to a night out perfectly.

Ristó - Beckenham

221 High Street, London BR3 1BN

09-04-2008

Allegreti’s is a lovely Italian restaurant and not hard to find on the high street. They have everything Italian and really make you feel at home. Obviously their pasta is something to try and their bread. The owners are very friendly and always to their best to make your stay how it should be. Once you step inside you actually feel like you’re sampling a bit of Italy.

Scotts Pie & Mash - Westminster

London SW1P 3JX

09-04-2008

Scott’s Pie & Mash is exactly how you might think it will be. Very British. The pie and mash is out of this world and I’m not surprised they named the whole establishment after them. If you need a quick lunch or dinner and don’t feel like cooking then this is the place to pick up some nice food. They are quick and easy and their portions are pretty generous. Maybe the place doesn’t look special on the outside but once you’ve eaten there you won’t care about that.

The Ruby Indian Restaurant - Bromley

32 Chatterton Road, London BR2 9QN

09-04-2008

The Ruby Indian is an average restaurant if you’ve been to many and know about Indian food but what can’t be knocked is their friendly attitude to customers and the design of it. It is quite an intimate venue and is nice when you want a quiet night out. They have some good curries and kebabs and they are usually quick at bringing the food out.

Tamasha - Bromley

131 Widmore Road, London BR1 3AX

09-04-2008

Tamasha is quite a large restaurant located on Widmore Road so you can’t miss it. I’ve been there quite a few times and whenever I’m there with my family they seat us wherever we want and wait on our every need. If you like spicy food then this is definitely the place to go. Even if your taste buds are suited to something more mild, I guarantee they will have something for you. The whole restaurant has a very intimate atmosphere and is good for any occasion.

Cafe Rouge - Orpington

9 The High St, London BR7 5AJ

09-04-2008

There are Cafe Rouges all over the country but this is an excellent one. The best time to go is a weekday afternoon when it’s not too busy and the staff look forward to seeing you. I’ve had one experience of bad customer service there but otherwise it’s been fine. It’s a nice place to stop off if you’ve been shopping or had a long day. Just order one of their latte’s or hot chocolates and watch the world go by through the window.

Choi's - Chislehurst

4-6 High Street, London BR7 5AN

09-04-2008

This is the best Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been to. I’ve been so many times I’ve lost count. Although it is a bit expensive it’s definitely well worth the visit. There is an upstairs seating area which is great to book for birthday parties as it’s very private. The staff are always happy to help with whatever requests you have and they have a large menu packed with goodies. If you like Chinese food, you will love Choi’s. They have the best sweet and sour chicken I’ve ever had.

The Tiger's Head - Chislehurst

Watts Lane, London BR7 5PJ

09-04-2008

This is a very lively pub indeed. It serves good food and drinks, and there’s never a lack of company. If you’re a local you’re bound to meet someone you know. Although the set up and decor of the pub isn’t anything special, the staff and atmosphere are. Once you’ve been you will keep going back and can spend hours there just talking. The prices are average and it’s a nice place to take the kids at the weekend. I wouldn’t recommend visiting if there’s a football match though (unless you’re a fan) it just gets too loud.

Jim Thompsons - Westminster

London SW1P 3JX

09-04-2008

Jim Thompsons is one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve ever been to. I know there are other Jim Thompsons around the country but after being here I don’t think I’d want to go to any of the others. Whenever I go there the service is impeccable and the waiters are always very polite. The food is excellent and the prices aren’t too bad either. Try the king prawns and any of their noodles.
