W H Smith is a fantastic store full of stationary and books galore! I often go there for any school supplies and for gifts for friends. It’s not just any ordinary book store either, you can buy a variety of games and DVDs to choose from, as well as calendars and things for arts and crafts.

This amazing store offers a range of books of many different genres. If you are looking for a specific book you can be sure that Waterstone’s has it. And if it doesn’t then I’m sure they’ll be able to order it for you. It is probably the biggest book store in Bedford and will always have the latest most popular books on offer.

This is a great little village post office and I highly recommend it. I use it often to send parcels, buy more commonly sort after foods such as bread, milk etc. This little shop sells you your daily newspaper and offers a few stationary bits and pieces. The staff behind the counter are friendly and always ready to help.

Wootton Upper is one of the best schools in the area! This school is also a performing arts college and offers many evening plays, concerts and more! This school will try it’s utter most to bring out the best in you as a student. This school also present many extra curricular activities for you to get stuck into!

The Bedford Corn Exchange offers a great night out for a variety of people. The Corn Exchange has a calendar full of countless different events which will appeal to everyone. It includes music, comedy, dances and even fairs of different types! It also has fantastic facilities which are always kept clean.

Boots in the Harpur Centre is a fantastic store. The staff are friendly and help you find what you need, they might sometimes ask personal questions but that’s just part of their job. The store offers a range of make-up, medicines (obviously) and is also a great place to find gifts!

If you need anything from medicines to make-up and more you are sure to find it in Boots. The staff know practically everything in the store and so are able to help you find whatever you need! The staff also help by pointing out any offers going at the moment.

Oasis Beach Pool is great for a family day out. You may be tempted to go to a pool that is cheaper such as Kempston, however, first consider that Oasis has a wave machine and water chutes of varying speeds! There is a small outdoor circuit for those who want a bit of fresh air and there is also a small gym in place!

This is a fantastic garden centre! The staff are helpful and will assist you in finding whatever you need. You can find plants (quite rightly), fish and supplies, garden tools, outdoor ornaments and other fantastic things to be used in your garden! You may even find that it’s just a great place for a wonder when you have a day with nothing to do!

This is an amazing shop for all the comic book fans out there! This store has comics (obviously), figurines, toys, games and a few other bits and bobs! The staff are extremely polite and can help you with whatever you’re looking for. It’s a great place to search for gifts!
