Was here with my boyfriend for tea recently, we both enjoyed our meal but I have to agree with most of the reviews on here! The service was slow and the staff were pretty unpleasant! It's a real same as this place used to be great!

I live in Edinburgh and I have been to the zoo numerous of times, but my last time there I was really disappointed in the size of the enclosures of the animals, especially the big cats! Edinburgh zoo need to change this! They are beautiful animals and deserve soo much more! The other thing that's annoying is it soo damn expensive, expensive to get in, the cafe's are really expensive! So if your thinking of visiting the zoo bring a packed lunch and save some pennies. The zoo is worth going to though it's just a shame about the size of some of the enclosures although since I've been there a few enclosures have been made bigger I think. Loved the red panda if it's still there, soo cute! Wolves are amazing too!

I have been really dissapointed with the Balgreen fryer recently! The owners changed hands a few years ago and it has really went down hill, the food tastes cheaper and its not as nice plus the customer service has gone down hill too. It used to be such a lovely chippy too .....shame

Best chippy In Edinburgh!!!! Lovely fish and chips, you always get a friendly welcome from all the staff that work there and they have great customer service! I usually get deliveries to my house and they are usually pretty fast at delivering plus the delivery driver is really nice and chatty! I recommend this Chippy to all my friends and family! I wouldnt go anywhere else now.
