Imli Restaurant - Soho

I love this place!!!
I visited this resturant as part of my job and so got to see things behind the scenes. I was impressed how clean the kichen was, despite it being lunch time, and other non customer areas were also very tidy. I was also impressed by the management who are always looking for ways to improve.
During my visit I was able to sample many of the dishes, which in my opinion were some of the best indian dishes I have ever had. Luckly I didn’t have to pay for meal (perks of the job!) but what I could see were not cheap, but very reasonably priced.
Definiatly give this place a go!!!
Golden Hind - Portsmouth
384 Copnor Road, Portsmouth PO3 5EN

The Golden Hind is effectively my 'local’ being the closest pub to both my home and work. I regularly drink here after work with my colleagues and always find the staff friendly and helpful.
There is a good selection of both alcoholic and soft drinks, although the carvery that is part of the pub sometimes makes you wonder if they should be paying you to eat the food. There is a reasonable range on the menu, and on Thursdays they do a curry night which isn’t bad; though on other occasions when I have eaten from the carvery section I have found the food quite poor as it had been hanging around for a long time.
Perhaps one of the best things about the Golden Hind is the free pool on Wednesdays, they have 3 tables so I have never had a problem getting a game.
