My wife and I went into The Indian Palace early on a Sunday evening and were the only customers. When there were two concerts at nearby venues this should have rang alarm bells.
Despite being the only customers, it still took over 35 mins to get our starters, which were passable (just).
We both ordered lamb dishes for our main courses and when they finally arrived the meat was chewy as old leather and full of gristle.
When we alerted our waiter (who spoke very little English) to this, he disappeared (obviously to ask for guidance) and when he returned asked if we wanted a different dish … however, it had taken so long to be served that if we ordered another dish we would miss the concert we were going to.
Under duress they finally agreed to deduct 10% from the bill. 10% deducted for a meal that was 90% inedible!
Incredibly slow service, inedible meat and the staff clearly couldn’t give a f&%k about whether their customers return.
In all the Indian restaurants I have eaten in all over the country, this place is THE WORST!
