Where this place looses points is the divide between the bar and the restaurant. In true Doncaster style it's a damned noisy place, which is because of the kind of a restraunt/bar hybrid. Not really my thing. It can get EXTREMELY noisy and busy in here at night. I imagine on race days this place gets rammed (especially on the St Leger).

They should have made a better divide between them both as the weekend warriors practicing their lines and starting off their binge can get annoying along with the presence of the TV, which is pretty unessesary in a place like this.
Food wise it's suprisingly good and the portions are HUGE (too big sometimes if thats your thing). It's great value for money and the food is pretty decent for Doncaster (Doncaster lacks on the food front though). The service was ok'ish, but the drinks took their time getting to us.
Conclusion: decent, but don't go here for a quiet meal and AVOID SATURDAYS. They really should have made a clear divide between bar and restaurant for a better atmosphere for the people eating.

Went here on a Friday night and it always seems to be pretty dead (in a bad way). It’s a chilled out bar, which is refreshing in Donny, but i’m not feeling the idea of a bar and restaurant. In my view you’re one or the other. The seating sucks as well. Would be nice if some of the tables were a bit higher and more comfortable so you can have a convo. Also from what I can remember the drinks are pretty pricey.

If you can get past the pricey drinks (some people would say this keeps the tossers out) and the try hard decor then Toast is a pretty decent bar for Doncaster. The bouncers on the door are suprisingly friendly (when I visited anyway) and there are usually decent DJs playing a pretty good selection of house, soul and rnb that doesn’t get played in other bars and clubs on the main strip (Silver Street).
Bringing up the decor again – it just doesn’t work because it fails to create the classy feel they want it to (looks pretty cheesy actually) and the place is just too damned dark at times. The balcony is pretty nice feature though. What this place needs is a refubishment and they would be onto a winner.

It's Wetherspoons - you should know what you're going to get before you even walk inside. You get the usual Wetherspoons deals and selection as you do in the other 2 'spoons bars in the centre.
The clientele can be pretty rough. I find that the atmosphere can feel very tense sometimes. Isn't very upmarket, but remember where you are!
Overall - If you want some decent quality food and a chilled out atmosphere then don't come here. It's ok just for a quick and cheap drink though. I only ever visit when i'm dragged in by a friend.

It's ok, but i just can't get along with this place. It reminds me of a school disco!
The food is ok. It's what you'd expect from a chain pub. Reasonable quality, but nothing too exciting. Does the job. Better than Wetherspoons food though!

Oh dear...this BHS could really do with a good refubishment. It really is starting to show it's age compared to other shops in the Frenchgate Centre.
The adult clothes are SO bland and boring, but the kids clothes are really good and the household department is great also. It has an ok Cafe as well which is quite popular, but nothing too special.
I think this BHS just seems old and unloved. It really needs a new look to bring in the customers so it can compete with the House of Fraiser and Debenhams.

Well it's a castle in Conisbrough. I won't repeat what everyone else has been saying, but It's in good condition for how old it is.
Nothing too exciting inside and viewed up close, but there's an impressive view at the top of Conisbrough and surrounding villages.
And Conisbrough IS in the Doncaster area.

Cash Generator is hit and miss depending on what you're buying.
You can get a good deal on things like secondhand games, music and DVDs. You never know what you're going to find! There's a lot of things you wouldn't be able to get in places like HMV.
It's really bad for electricals though. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. I would definetly not buy anything expensive and electrical (like a games console, bass guitar or DJ mixer) from these guys. Guarantees are non existent and they definetly don't warn you of that. They'll take your money and run. The best you can expect is that they'll fix your item (in something stupid like 4 weeks).
So shopping at Cash Generator is a little like buying a TV from an Ebay seller with no feedback, or from a grotty market stall in Barnsley on a Saturday. You're taking a bit of a risk.
If you're after secondhand gaming consoles stick to reputable places like CEX and Gamestation.

Yes this place is awful. Not the sort of place you want to go if you want a decent night out in Donny at all.
First off, if you don’t know this is a themed retro bar, so the music is mainly cheesy 70s and 80s garbage.
The drinks are pretty rubbish as well. The glasses are dirty and the drinks are warm. When i ordered a cocktail last time i was here i had to bring my drink back to the bar and demand ice!
I’m not gonna even bother talking about the people in here. Lets just say you’ll meet up with Doncasters roughest!
Go to The Priory if you want to go to a decent bar/club in Donny.

Great music shop in Doncaster which has two bulildings. One for the traditional instruments such as guitars and drums and another for DJ equipment, recording desks, mics, etc.
The staff are quite helpful and most of the stuff they sell is reasonably priced. If they don’t have something then they might be able to order for you.
