my wife and i live near carrick and frequent ‘the bush’ on a regular basis for lunch – primarily because it is one of the best lunches in the locality – excellent fare at reasonable prices and always served with a smile and a banter from the staff
in addition we are always made to feel welcome by the owner joe and indeed his family
on the one occasion we had a minor complaint on the following visit our bill was reduced
but more than anything the bush was straight out of the starting blocks when implementing the vat reduction which is more than can be said about some other places around town
