I think this place is very…meh. The food is pretty mediocre, the decor is uninspiring, the atmosphere is non-existent, the service is slow. The only thing that is not average are the prices, which are FAR too high, considering. Don’t get me wrong, this place is not terrible, it’s just very forgettable. You can get much better food for the same or less money at other places just round the corner, not least The Roebuck and The High Road Brasserie…

I love this place for post-work drinks. The wine is reasonably-priced, especially for this part of London (with the house wines divided by price into 'honest’, 'decent’ and 'good’), the bar food is tasty and the atmosphere is great. Crucially, it is not usually too noisy or crowded.
However - I ate in the restaurant section the other night, the food took ages to arrive and was fairly average. Stick to drinks and bar snacks…

Having lived in NYC for a year where I became addicted to Pinkberry, I can confirm that despite the TERRIBLE name, Snog do a good job of imitating the masters. I had green tea frozen yoghurt topped with dried cranberries - delicious. It’s overpriced, but worth a visit if you like real LA-style 'fro yo’.
