roman legion museum is great you can view a collection of objects that show you how the romans lived. at weekends and school holidays children can step back in time in a full-sized barrack room, try on replica armour and experience the life of a roman soldier. great fun for children. disabled facilities: good access, price: free, open mon-sat ,10am-5pm, sun 2pm -5pm.

paultons park is great fun for all the family. there are little rides for younger children and an indoor nursery rhyme display. for older children there are faster rides such as the cobra roller coaster,pirate ship and log fume. there are shows starring percy,the parks owl mascot and dinosaur land, crazy golf, bouncy castles, trampolines and so much more. this place is chil friendly and the staff are very helpful.disabled facilities: most of the park fully accessible. open: daily from 20 march- 4 november see website for details www.paultons.co.uk

tropical world is great as there is so much for children of all ages. step under a waterfall,see meerkats in the desert area and reptiles of all descriptions. butterflies and exotic birds fly freely.great for all the family. open summer 10am-6pm,winter 10 am -4pm. prices are adults £3, children (8-15) £2, under 8s free.

boots is great for make up , baby stuff, medical stuff. they often have offers on. if you have a child under 2 join the parenting club and get lots of money off vouchers e.t.c

ice nine is great they do a good range of goth clothes,metal wear e.t.c ,candles,jewelery. they have some really stuff in here. often go this shop when we visit nottingham. very friendly staff.

nice hotel, in a countryside setting,great food,beer garden out side, great for weddings,party`s. been here a few times for my hubby`s work`s do. the drinks prices are a bit high, not very nice pedigree .

they have a large function room ,good for party e.t.c me and my hubby had our wedding reception here. the only problem we had was we had to keeping ringing them to take our money to pay for the room, never know a place that don`t want to take your money.
