We have been to this pub a long time ago and it has always been good in the past however on this occasion it was terrible we went there for a very special family meal for a 60th birthday. We were a small party of 8 with two young children a 3 year old and 8 month old. First impressions were good the table was all set out we had reserved etc. However this soon changed as we were served by the worst waitress I have ever come across. First of all main courses were brought for the people who weren't having starters so it was all mixed up then she didn't clear the plates up so mains arrived when the table still had the starter plates its was a mess! Then she came up and shouted away from the table was the food ok and walked off before we had chance to answer. Then my 3 year old sons children's meal turned up later then everyone else's so he was starving at this point with massive bones in his fish which he nearly choked on we did complain and got a refund but he ended up eating everyone else's meals. Overall the food was delicious but the service was appalling the worst I have ever come across you don't expect silver service in a pub but basic service would be nice. We did complain when we left which hopefully they will take on board and sack the waitress or send her on some kind of course before this pub goes downhill fast.
