Have been with these dentists for years - and have been happy most of the time - did have a bad experience a few years ago with a young dentist who tried to remove a root and it ended up taking a very long time and I had to have stitches - think he was removed shortly after that. On the whole though every other dentist I have had has been very efficient and friendly.

This is a very good cafe - you can get absolutely delicious sandwiches and jacket potatoes etc in there - is very popular and loads of people seem to go there but you dont have to wait too long to be served.

This is a very handy little pet shop if you are shopping in Braintree as it has everything you could need to save you going to Pets at Home at Freeport. It sells all the usual pet food in several sizes and far cheaper than anywhere else. Service is very good and friendly staff.

Essex Police have always been efficient and co-operative when dealing with incidents - sometimes in very difficult circumstances - they are quick to respond and are generally very helpful and sympathetic

This is the perfect place to plan and order a new kitchen - the planners go through the whole thing which takes a couple of hours then show you it in 3d on the screen. If you decide to go ahead they price it all up for you and then you pay for the units from MFI and they have their own kitchen fitters they use who liaise with you at home - very efficient

This is much like any other Adams - slightly better than some but still rather messy as they seem to have sales on a fair bit - quite a bit in the baby and toddler line but not as nice as other shops such as Next or M & S

This is a lovely jewellers probably one of the best in the Chelmsford area - the merchandise is always excellent quality and if anything goes wrong with it once you’re purchased it, they will always refund the money or replace it - very help staff

This is a typically good Asda - as with all the others it is well stocked with everything you could need - all at reasonable prices and with lots of offers to be had especiall in the alcohol department! Very nice and clean and helpful staff

This Pub is a real find - the food is all so reasonably priced - whatever you choose is only around £5 a head - sometimes less - as they have buy 1 get 1 free on nearly everything including the carvery - the carvery is hot and delicious and the snacks are really tasty. It is really huge inside so there is always somewhere to sit - it is open all day Sunday which is a real help if you’re doing Christmas shopping and need some refreshment!

This is an excellent book shop - everything you could need you will find in here - nearly always plenty of offers which are helpful at this time of year - didn’t find a 20% off voucher printed in the Mirror very helpful though as it wasn’t redeemable on any books already on offer - very helpful assistants who knew their stuff
