It’s a Tescos. What more can you say. Not a large one and has recently refurbished and not for the better. Less food which has been replaced with non food items. Also it now seems more spartan and cold in it’s decor. Staff are always good though. Get’s very busy during the tourist season.

Great staff, with a fantastic landlord and landlady. Not a modern pub and the decor isn’t great. There is always something going on with it’s hard core regulars. That’s it really, it’s a regular;s pub. Not really for families or visitors but if you live in Penzance and need a retreat then you couldn’t go far wrong with this place.

Friendly coffee bar. Good place to relax after a hard day’s shopping. Nice comfy seating with a lovely small garden to the rear. Small cakes and sandwiches are also available. Staff are great and always seem to have a smile and remember your regular drink.

Pricey but a wonderful place to walk around and peruse. It sells good quality men’s and women’s clothes, furnishings, toys, kitchen ware and much more. The staff are great with a good knowledge. Especially upstairs in the women’s clothes department. There is always something to find and tempt you. Just a visit while you shop is worth it.

Health food shop with a restaurant above with some ill informed, but friendly staff.

This place is very “right on”. It has a large range of goods for their customers but when you ask for specific information they are ill informed. I have found some very strange and way out ideas and concepts there, with an everything goes sort of attitude. Nothing is critically looked at. With what seems like any wacky idea given respect.

A beautiful, character filled little pub in a fantastic setting. It’s a very old village pub set right in the middle of the village. When you enter it has what seems like thousands of little nik naks hanging on the walls and ceiling which can take you all night to puruse.

If you are after modern and sophisticated, you have come to the wrong place. The landlady runs it the way she wants any she isn’t changing for noone.

No food in the evening though, just at lunch. Food is simple fare but reasonably priced and honest.

This is a fun place to go with a friendly staff. All your party supplies in one place. Small and a little hard to find though.

Turn right at the London Inn if you are coming from the town centre.

A normal WHSmith. Just the same as all the other. A little bit crowded and you have to queue to get served. Apart from that, nothing special

It’s an Argos. Same as every other one in the country. Maybe has the best views in the country as it’s situated in the Wharfside centre. But apart from that, a normal Argos.
Not a big one though, so maybe check the stock levels before you go.
