Located in Ebisu area , we were lucky to find UBCRA which has an english menu!
As part of a group of 7 people, it was a bit tricky to find a restaurant that could accomodate such a “large” group since they are usually tiny restaurants in this very typical area.
The waiters and especially the manager Mr Kashiwa greeted us with a very warm welcome smile and did everything they could to understand our order.
2 options: you can either eat at the counter where you can see the cook mastering the art of making sushi and yakitori or you can choose the small rooms where you need to take off your shoes and dig under the table in a very relaxed atmosphere.
On top of that , the bill was very “light” for a jap restaurant (approx 15 EUR per head with wine included).
If you want to eat japanese food but don’t want to spend a fortune then go for it, you won’t regret it!
