Ecco Cafe - Covent Garden

186 Drury Lane, Holborn, London WC2B 5QD

15-02-2012

Can’t recommend this place highly enough – really good fresh pizza for £3:50/£4 depending on what toppings you get. The pizza is cooked super quickly so there’s really not much of a wait. Besides the unbelievably low price for central London the pizza is actually so fresh and so tasty too – it is really up there with my favourite pizza places. They also have extra chilli flakes, herbs and black pepper to add to the pizza as you wish.
They also do sandwiches/paninis but I’ve always gone for pizza.. Hungry even thinking about it!

Adobo - Holborn

87 High Holborn, London WC1V 6LS

05-12-2011

One of a number of burrito places around the Holborn area at the moment – good fresh ingredients and fast services. No where near as good as the Daddy Donkey burritos on Leather Lane though.

Seven at Brixton - Brixton

7 Market Row, Brixton, London SW9 8LB

30-11-2011

Seven is located within the bustling Brixton Market has a nice setting with old suitcases and trunks for tables, and suitcases to display drinks. Service was relaxed and friendly and the basil and ginger beer mojito hit the spot! They were serving some tapas style food which did look lovely but we unfortunately didn’t try.

Seemed to be an art space upstairs as well.

Honest Burgers - Brixton

Unit 12 Brixton Village, London SW9 8PR

30-11-2011

Yum yum yum! Had a nice day pottering around Brixton market and decide to check out this relatively new burger joint. Luckily managed to hit there just as they were opening so managed to avoid having to queue for too long – the queue can really be huge here.

Burgers were delicious – served medium as standard with a side of rosemary salted triple cooked chips. You can really taste the quality here. The only fault would be that portions aren’t on the large size..

Brick Box Cafe - Brixton

41/42 Brixton Village Market, Coldharbour Lane, Brixton, London SW9 8PS

30-11-2011

The Brick Box is situated in the ever more trendy Brixton Village market, good buzz about the place with late night openings on Friday and Saturday nights. Service is quick and friendly and it’s a good place to go to lap up the atmosphere.. but are their tasty crepes shrinking?!

First went there for a lazy Sunday brunch and was positively stuffed by the time we staggered out the door – just last week visited on a Thursday night and we were all really left feeling hungry and wondering if they have downsized their portions..

That said the crepes are divine and it’s definitely worth a visit..

Cable Club - London Bridge

33 a Bermondsey St tunnel, London Bridge, London SE1 3JW

03-10-2011

Recently visited this club for the second time and will definitely avoid going back for as long as possible. Were made queue for around 40 mins in the queue for those who had their tickets already, rude door men and women, not a very friendly crowd in the club with most people pushing and being very agro, understaffed bar and general bad vibes. Had enjoyed myself there the previous time but will definitely avoid from now on.

Hard Rock Cafe London - Mayfair

150 Old Park Lane, Mayfair, London W1K 1QZ

31-08-2011

Ok so I’m giving this four stars as I had a free meal here and I must say that the burgers are delicious – however the prices are way over what I’d pay for them. I’ve never been to a Hard Rock before (and they certainly seem to have loyal devotees who visit a branch in every city they visit) and to be honest I don’t think I’d go back off my own back. Definitely worth a visit once to check it out but over priced at the end of the day. I think if I’d paid myself I’d probably knock off another star

Sams Van Hire - Enfield

84 Southbury Road, London EN1 1YB

15-11-2010

If it was possible to award 0 stars I would have done so. Do not use this company, the man who runs it is rude and unhelpful. The vans is in terrible condition and now he is trying to charge me for a parking ticket for the car that he received after we handed the keys back to him. All in all - stay clear!

Sandbanks Beach cafe - Poole

Sandbanks Pavilion, Banks Road, Poole BH13 7QF

05-07-2010

This cafe has such a fabulous location right on Sandbanks beach. My initial impression was that the food wouldn't be great but I was pleasantly surprised. It is a little pricey but the fantastic location and good fun made up for this. We had just missed the bbq food which was more reasoable so went for the fish and chips and were not disappointed. We sat out on the balcony with a lovely view of the beach. The menu was limited in variety but can't complain as our food really hit the spot!

Swan Inn - Emery Down

Swan Green, Lyndhurst, Hampshire SO43 7DT

05-07-2010

Called into the Swan with some friends when in the area recently, the pub itself seems nice and staff were friendly but we made the most of the sun and sat out in the large garden and sampled some ciders. The pub got pretty busy later in the day with many ordering food and from what I could see it all seemed decent enough.
