Expect to pay over £1200 per annum for this glorified spittoon!
This is meant to be a premium gym experience and for the amount of money you pay you should expect a much larger space with more equipment that is kept tidy and well organised so that when you go to use it you don’t have to spend minutes tracking down the dumb bells you need for you work out.
The staff are polite at the door but personal trainers and the vast amount of selfish members think that it’s ok to hog the equipment and use more than one piece at a time. There is only one small floorspace for resistance training and the equipment is crammed in there. I have only gone in after 8:30pm and it’s still crammed with people. Goodluck getting a lane in the pool.
You’ll be surrounded by unhygienic gym members that think it’s ok to spit (that includes heaving the contents of their lungs for all to see), shave and brush their teeth in the showers, sauna, steam room and swimming pool. I’m OK with anyone who decides to do that at home but this is a communal space, you are not the only person there and you should be mindful of others. Any complaints you make go nowhere and as a business that reserves the right of entry you would think that they would use that right to provide patrons with a great gym experience by baring those that ruin it for others. I come out angry instead of relaxed whenever I go in.
I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless they love to workout in cesspit tin can and are willing to throw their money away doing so. Londoners need to start setting their standards higher and demand better service, down with mediocrity.
