Craft In The Bay - Cardiff
Lloyd George Avenue, Craft In The Bay, Cardiff, Wales CF10 4QH

Kemi’s Cafe in Cardiff Bay is one of my favorite daytime eateries in Cardiff. I like the relaxed atmosphere, the friendly staff, the interesting local arts and ’what’s on’ magazines but of course the main selling point is the food.
I usually go for a ‘salad feast’, which is a selection of the salad bar dishes, it certainly is generous and really nice after a walk across the barrier from Penarth. I’ve not had a whole cake for myself, but I’ve tried some and they are excellent.
Given that there is a lot of choice down in the Bay it is fair to say that there us a lot of competition, but I would say that for quality of the wholesome salads and prices it makes the best value choice. It has a nice feel about the place that I don’t find in most of the numerous chain restaurants just around the corner.
Mid Devon Tyres - Exeter

I always get my tyres here now (for the last 4 years) - good and professional service, honest advice (which I don't get from my former main dealer - always trying to get me to buy products and services that were not needed) and a price that beats others when I have shopped around.
I also had my MOT done here and would not hesitate to recommend them. they also do servicing / brakes / exhausts etc.

Hmmm, I’d been here on occaisions before and thought it was OK’ish, however my last visit was served really poor quality fish and chips - very poor compared to some of the other places I go to around the Swansea area.
Nice place to go and sit for a drink on a nice (or indeed rainy!) day. I probably wouldn’t bother with the food again, although perhaps I just visted on an off-day?
The Falmouth Town House - Falmouth

We has a very comfortable March stay here earlier this year. The room was very tastefully decorated, it is just a short walk to the very centre of Falmouthand handily placed for a nice few days around that part of Cornwall.
The breakfasts were very nice and the staff were friendly.
Unfortunately I would echo the previous review - we were in a road facing room and as a result, it was really, really loud going late into the night. That was really disappointing, try as we might to put towels around the window but it didnt make any different. The noice actually came from the bar next door and the people in the street - it seemed they would never shut-up!
The sad irony was that we had very favourable weather - if it was raining they would have had to have drunk indoors and we wouldn’t have had the problem!
Hunky Dory - Falmouth

We read the review on here and went for the early evening set menu. We were not disappointed!!
The atmosphere was nice, the service was exceptionally quick but the food tasted like it had someone slaving over it for hours!
I had an excellent rissotto - cooked to perfection.
Definately recommended, it was also very fair value.
The Chattery - Uplands
57-59 Uplands Crescent, Swansea, Wales SA2 0EZ

One of my favorite cafes anywhere that I visit regularly - there is no place in the world that gives a decent Welsh rarebit in the way I like every time!
I would say that it is very good value.
Nice place to sit and read. THe service is very pleasant.
eastern eye - Newton Abbot

Top quality Indian cuisine, lovely setting, excellent service and a very wide menu.
As the other review above says, it isn’t cheap but you certainly get what you pay for.
I have ordered a takeaway from there before and it was disappointig compared to the excellent eat-in offering.
The New Zealand Shop - Covent Garden

It was a bit of a “in-out mission” for me so didn’t get to look around for more than a couple of minutes - but this place is a god-send!!!
Travelleing around NZ ffor a couple of months gave me a real taste for Speights Gold Medal ale, Lemon & Peroa and Bundaberg’s ginger beer!
The only problem was that I didn’t get the beer with a bag around it and the cardboard got we in the rain, and by the time I got to Paddington the bottles were breaking through! I’ll ask for one next time.
They do mail order, so as I don’t get to make it to London very often it might prove to be useful again in the future!!
Apollo Victoria Theatre - Victoria

As per the other reviewer, The Wizard of Oz is one of my favorite childhood films - so I did wonder if I would like Wicked. It didn’t take long to really get into it - it was a clever twist on the Baum’s original (and the novel “Wicked”) but without being too smart for its own good.
This was a great show - the set and lighting was fantastic. It was the first time I had to been to this sort of show in the West End and it was brilliant - I would recommend it to all age groups.
I liked the theatre as well - some of the orginal art deco features were very atmospheric.
Park Plaza Riverbank London - Lambeth

We stayed here for one night - we arrived and it looked like there was an office party going-on and we wondered whether it would be noisy, however our room on the 7th floor was very quiet - thankfully!
We used this place for a West End theatre stay and it was really good - about 500m from Vauxhall Station.
The room was comfortable, the staff were polite and helpful and we would recommend this place if you can ge a decent priced deal (which we did!).
It had a very nice bath to soak in after a day wandering around the shops and sights!
