I wanted to like this place. The reviews seemed very promising.
Went for lunch today with my daughter. The sushi (2 types of veg. maki) was warm and the seaweed was tough and inedible. Staff explained to me that it was good quality sushi and gave us toothpicks?! The staff were indifferent, bordering on unpleasant.
For a 7 year old girl who loves sushi, this little trip has almost put her off for good. My stomach performed somersaults for close to 4 hours afterwards. A trip to a local apotheke helped alleviate that problem.
We have had a good amount of sushi in Berlin and I would never recommend this place to anybody. Can recommend Ishin and Mr. Hai (Steglitz). Never go to this place. Abysmal.
