A unique arts cafe run by a lovely Hungarian woman called Nikki, cafe tables on the street, sells the usual cappucinos - but Irish Stew for a fiver!
A virtual Alladin's Cave of Object d'Arts, paintings and photographs , even sculptures upstairs.
Not to be missed on your visit to Kilkenny.
Nikki is doing well, so well she'll be moving to High Street soon , she tells me.

Probaqbly the best sports ( hurling ) photographer in Ireland today , thus the five stars !
photographerofkilkenny Leave out the mis-spelled ' probably' , Eoin Hennessey is the best hurling photographer in Ireland today , Irish Independent or Irish Times newspapers should grab him with both hands .
On anything else of the ordinary everyday jobs, Eoin is accomplished , but absolutely excels in hurling action shots -
maybe he wanted to be a champion hurler and his frustration manifests itself in the excellence of his action shots ?
Right now he should prepare an exhibition of his best hurling action photographs , as a Pro Photog of 44 years standing that's my advice .
The best would adorn the walls of GAA Headquarters at Croke Park in style .
