what a lovely place! serves beautiful homecooked meals with a wide range of choice. the staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to help customers (on many visits ive even seen the landlord take customers home as it was raining) the ales are well kept real beer. the pub has a lovely homely feel with log fires lit in winter. It is a secret jewel of derbyshire!

I have visited these kennels many many times and always found them to be clean. tidy and the staff well trained. My dog is a severe epileptic and stress can cause fits (which could kill him) the staff looked after him as they would one of their own and kept all his personal belongings with him plus items with my smells on him to keep him calm and comfotable as possible. he came home very happy very healthy and no fits occured. staff regularly monitored him and maintained his medication. I would happily leave my precious pooch with them again and know i can relax as he is in safe hands.
